Catherine C is amazing, she did amazing with my moms hair, making sure my mom was comfortable the entire time. My mom loved the color retouch and blow dry, we definitely recommend her while she is still here!

Unbelievable , I am just leaving the school from a retouch on my roots that the color never took. I thought that today's visit was going to be on the Paul Mitchell school after calling 3 days in a row to try to get my issue resolved. It took 3 times and 6 days to get a return call. I finally received a phone call which I had requested to be after 5:30 because it was Valentine's Day and I was at dinner. However I got a phone call at 354pm. I was told by Miss Michelle to return as their guest to get my color corrected. Today I came in to the appointment asking for my roots explaining the situation. When I got to the stylist, I explained that my color is usually between 7 and 8 , 7 and 1/2. I asked for my roots to be colored and then to pull the color from the root through to my hair is to give the rest of the the hair the same kind of base in the wash basin. That did not happen. I got the root color smuged on with some feathering to blend so i would have dome dimension. After 20 minutes, the stylist returned to pull the color through with another bowl of color, not in the basin as I requested. The darker color was applied to my whole head, which was blonde with highlights and low lights around 9-10 shade. I came in with I came in blonde and left a dark brown, not what I wanted for roots only coverage. When it was time to leave , I was told the charge for the day would be what for the service I had done. I paid $55 and am shocked that they even charged me. I was under the impression that I was their guest. However, I was not. Miss Michelle never wrote notes on my file. Did they do a service? Yes, was it the wrong color ,absolutely. I'm just flabbergasted that the director or manager that I spoke with didn't take the time to note my account that it would be on them. Leaving today, they apologized for the issue and they had me book an appointment for Wednesday to get partial highlights to correct the issue. I would be charged to correct the mistake again. I don't think I'm going to return, I don't have the time. I understand they're students. I know it's a school, but a completely different color than when I walked in that I didn't want? The issue have been resolved. The worst part about all of this is my initial appointment was for noon. when I arrived to check-in, I was told the first available appointment has to be 1245 since they are at lunch. I came back for the 1245 appointment and just for roots took me to just after 4pm. I left with wet hair even though the stylist wanted to dry it. I went in only for root touch up. Today was supposed to be root touch up as well with comb through in the wash basin, it definitely did not happen that way. The first photo is after I had the touch up. My roots are there, completely grey. The second and third before I returned to the salon. The last one is how it looks today.

My girlfriend tried different Paul Michell schools in different states as part of their salon services, but it never seemed quite right - we were so happy to find the Fort Lauderdale location, as it finally felt “right”. The staff were very professional and welcoming -  treating you as if you were part of their family. I want to thank Ms. Frank for guiding the student to fix my girlfriend’s hair color (to say it was having a bad hair day, would not have been an exaggeration).  The ladies at reception were very happy to see clients, and the students were enthusiastic to meet us. We have been attended to by various students from the day and night classes over the past few months,  and I would like to say that night students are the winners,  with special attention to Jaffna who attended to both us. We received many compliments regarding  our hair for the week following our visit. I would definitely recommend booking your next appointment with the night shift.
