Paul Mitchell Culture
A culture, by definition, is a set of shared attitudes, values, goals, and practices that characterize a company or corporation. You will leave our school not only a great hairdresser, but a better person by learning what it means to be Forward Focused, find out what your Multiple Intelligence is, and how to have a customer focused attitude.

Courses Offered
At Paul Mitchell the School, our teaching style is unique. We believe that education is an adventure and that the learning experience needs to be fun. When you tour any Paul Mitchell school, you'll notice something different. You will experience a positive learning environment everywhere you look. The culture within our Paul Mitchell school campus inspires confidence and success. Our schools are learning communities that provide you with the opportunities to develop essential skills while able to explore your talents, passion, and creativity.

COSMETOLOGY
Our incredible cosmetology program features design, cutting, coloring, multicultural techniques, makeup, fashion trends, and the art of hairdressing in a three phase program called Core, Adaptive, and Creative.

CORE
Learn the rules! In this introductory course, you'll learn the basics that will enable you to confidently begin working on guests, and your Learning Leaders will help you blend your professional skills with personal development. Once you complete Core, you will begin our PROTÉGÉ program. You will assist a more advanced student as you transition from Core into the ADAPTIVE program.

ADAPTIVE
Bend the rules! Building on the skills you learned in CORE, this intermediate level teaches the value of time management, retailing, and the art of successful communication.

CREATIVE
Break the rules! This final phase takes you through advanced hairdressing and chemical work. During your last months and weeks toward graduation, you'll spend your time in high gear, preparing yourself for your future salon career. Once you reach the required hours, you can apply to be a part of PHASE 2. This honors program can help you transition from school to a salon as you learn from; customized training opportunities, work in a progressive "salon-like" environment, learn advanced salon skill curriculum, and refine your creative technical skills.

Financial Aid
You CAN afford a quality education! Our Financial Aid office will be happy to explain your financial options and walk you through everything you need to know and do to have a career in the salon, spa, and beauty industry.
