At Paul Mitchell The School, we prepare our graduates to not only pass the state licensing examination, but to build personal confidence and become successful right from the start.

Cosmetology Program Overview
The Cosmetology Program features design, cutting, coloring, multicultural techniques, makeup, fashion trends, and the art of hairdressing.

The Cosmetology Program features a three-phase program we call CORE, ADAPTIVE, and CREATIVE. In CORE, you'll learn the basics that will let you confidently begin working with guests. ADAPTIVE builds on the first phase and adds time management, professional service and retailing skills, and the art of successful communication. The final phase, CREATIVE, takes you through advanced hairdressing and chemical work.

Enrollment Requirements
To enroll in our program at PAUL MITCHELL THE SCHOOL, you must be at least l7 years of age and be a high school graduate with a diploma, or have a GED certificate. A limited number of secondary students will be accepted, subject to passing a pre-enrollment exam in compliance with the NACCAS Ability to Benefit Policy and obtain permission in writing from the secondary school in which they are enrolled.
