with up-to-date curriculum, highly trained
staff, and state of the art facilities.

education in Arizona, Texas, Oklahoma and
New Mexico since 1964.
Our Campuses
There is over 11,000 square feet of modern,
air-conditioned space at our Albuquerque
campus.
Each campus has classrooms for theory and
practical training as well as a clinic laboratory
equipped with today's latest equipment and
features a spa/salon state-of-the-art atmosphere.
Programs
Offered at Olympian University
Cosmetology
Program (Day and Evening Classes
Available)
Utilizing the Milady and Clic textbooks,
students will receive an education at the
highest technical and professional levels.
All students begin their training in the
Phase I and Phase II classrooms. Here, students
receive instruction of theoretical and practical
skills including learning basic and advanced
techniques in Hair Cutting, Styling, Color,
Multi-Cultural Chemical Services, Permanent
Waves, Skincare, Make-Up, Nail Technology,
Hair Extensions, Braiding, Retail Sales,
Field Trips and Product Knowledge.
After testing and successfully completing
Phase I and Phase II, students proceed to
the clinic for the remaining hours. Students
then work as stylists in a professional
spa/salon clinic setting. They continue
their practical application skills, attend
theory class and are monitored for success
with the completion of a Skill Builder Text,
created as a supplemental guide for training.
Prior to graduation, students will be prepped
for the State Board Exam as well as complete
and successfully pass a final school exam.
Student Instructor
(Day and Evening Classes Available)
A study of the principles of teaching both
practical and theory skills to Cosmetology
students. Upon completion of this course
the student instructor shall have demonstrated
competencies required to pass the State
Board Examination leading to Cosmetology
Instructor Licensure.
Aesthetics
(Day Classes Only)
Theory and Practical training are integrated
throughout our comprehensive Aesthetics
program. Students will work through 5 modules
consisting of primary, advanced I & II,
make-up and clinic. Using the latest in
equipment and technology, students will
work hands-on learning advanced facial treatments,
chemical peels, hair removal, microdermabrasion,
advanced make-up application. These are
a few examples of the multitude of procedures
covered in our program in theory, practically
and on the clinic.
Advanced Education
At Olympian University we feel that your
education goes beyond the classroom. We
encourage all of our students to attend
advanced educational workshops, known as
the Signature Series Workshops, offered
throughout the year. These events allow
students and graduates to work hands-on
with skilled industry professionals, and
world champions, while sharpening their
skills in the basics to the advanced!
Admissions and
Financial Aid
Students wishing to apply for
financial aid and financing may do so by
scheduling an appointment with the Admissions
Department upon enrollment. Financial Aid
Programs and financing include:
- Pell Grant
- Subsidized Loans
- Unsubsidized Loans
- PLUS Loans
Other financing options may be available.
Financial aid is available to those who
qualify.
Olympian University- Albuquerque has certain
programs approved for the training of Veterans.
