Do you just need a little help to pass the exam? We offer brush-ups for the California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology licensing exam. This practice exam is the perfect preparation for the California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology licensing exam. You will receive training and the opportunity to take the baby board exam we hold monthly.

Overview
Mission and Educational Objectives
It's our goal to offer you the basic training to improve your opportunities. We emphasize the importance of teaching you how to be successful in the marketplace, and how to gain experience from each of the procedures and operations you perform during your training at Robinson's Cosmetology. Our mission and prime objective is to offer our students the knowledge and the skills necessary to assist them in passing the California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology examination required for a state license.

Our vocational objective is to train and produce knowledgeable graduates able to seek and find entry-level employment in the beauty industry. Our successful students are able to function effectively in one of the many specialty areas such as:

COSMETOLOGY
All aspects of cosmetology including:

• Hair cutting
• Hairstyling
• Color / highlights / low lights
• Up-dos
• Make-up
• Facials Nail services
• Advanced hair extensions
• Advanced Raiki facials
• Advanced Raiki body work

Skills developed:

• The proper use of implements relative to all cosmetology services.
• The knowledge of analyzing scalp, face and hands prior to all services to determine disorders.
• The procedures and terminology used in performing all cosmetology services.
• The application of daytime and evening make-up to include the application of false eyelashes
• The proper procedure of manicuring to include water and oil manicure and pedicure.
• The applications of brush-on nails, nail wraps, and nail tips.
  
  

ESTHETICIAN
All aspects of skin care including:

• European facials
• Enzymes / acneic facials
• Glycolic peels
• Aroma therapy
• Back facials
• Waxing
• Make-up
• Advanced Raiki facials
• Advanced Raiki body work

Skills developed:

• The proper use of implements relative to Esthetician.
• Develop the knowledge to recognize the various skin conditions and disorders.
• Develop the knowledge relating to product used by Esthetician and determined for individual use.
• Develop the knowledge of safety precautions in Esthetician practice.
  

MANICURING
All aspects of nail care including:

• Manicures
• Pedicures
• Hawaiian (paraffin and aroma therapy) manicure and pedicure
• French manicure and pedicure
• Artificial nails (tips, acrylic, silk wrap, gels)
• Glitter nails
• Nail art and design
• Aroma therapy pedicures
• Foot and leg facial

Skills developed:

• The proper use of implements relative to manicure, pedicure and artificial nails.
• Develop the knowledge relating to product use to recognize the various skin conditions and disorders.
• Develop the knowledge relating to product use, to include: nail tips, nail wraps, and brush-on nails.
