Our approach to education is student-centered. That means our Student Professionals receive more one-on-one time with their Educators to ensure growth and success within the program. Rather than relying only on traditional cosmetology practices, we continually update our educational programs.

We believe that the most important aspect of your training comes when your formal education is complete: your career. We strive to assist graduates with placement in privately held salons and spas, where the income is the highest.

In addition to helping our graduates find positions in local salons, we also place graduates in Redken Club 5th Avenue salons across the country. Some graduates from Elgin have received and accepted offers from California, Florida and New York. The Academy has also placed students globally in Australia, Canada, and Puerto Rico.
