to The Salon Professional Academy!
Enroll in a brand new school - The Salon
Professional Academy. We are a REDKEN 5th
Avenue School. Visit with our admissions
person to take a tour of the Academy.
Our classrooms are equipped with all of
the educational tools you need to succeed.
Our styling area has 50 salon styling stations,
ample shampoo stations, manicure tables,
pedicure thrones, esthetics beds, plus a
makeup area and a full retail center. Our
academy is 12,000 square feet to accommodate
students and client base.
We use computers at the front desk and in
the offices to track student success. Students
use the computers in the styling area to
check their daily bookings and to work toward
their goals. Computer readiness is important
in the salon world of today.
We use and sell only professional products
from leading manufacturers. Redken is our
hair care line for both retail and professional
use. Redken also provides education for
our educators and students.
We have the support of industry leaders
like Michael Cole, Randy Kunkel and Kitty
Victor.
Programs
The Salon Professional
Academy offers the following programs of
study:
- Cosmetology
- Skin Care
- Nail Care
- Full Specialist
Tuition includes books and kit. An enrollment
fee is due at contract signing. Black street
clothing and shoes is the dress code so
you can put together a fashion look that
fits you.
Convenient payment plans may be used or
loans may be arranged for those who qualify.
Cosmetology classes start in January, March,
May, July, September and November.
Evening programs are available.
Class size is limited. Enroll early to get
the class of your choice.

The Salon Professional Academy incorporates
business training in its curriculum to help
students achieve maximum success after training.
We make the privately held salons and spas,
where incomes are highest, a target for
placement. Area salon and spa owners serve
on our advisory board and recruit from our
school.
In addition, we have placement in more than
6,000 Redken Club 5th Avenue salons in 50
states.
The Academy trains in critical skills like
goal setting to assure success in the salon.
We hire only salon experienced educators.
We believe real world practice is important
when training our students. Our students
gain the knowledge, skills and confidence
to become salon industry professionals.
