The School
The San Francisco Institute of Esthetics and Cosmetology, Inc. is now offering classes and a full menu of services in its state of the art South of Market facility. As a Paul Mitchell Partner School we are offering a comprehensive program guiding students to become professionals in the field of cosmetology.

A solid educational foundation is the most important element of a successful career in the beauty industry. We are dedicated to your lifelong learning process and staying current in the rapidly changing environment of Esthetics and Cosmetology.

Curriculum
The curriculum for students enrolled in a cosmetology course will meet or exceed minimums set by the state of California and include practical training and technical instruction covering all aspects of the industry. Day students attend classes for 35 hours a week for 46 weeks.

The curriculum for students enrolled in the esthetician course will be 600 hours of practical training and technical instruction covering all aspects of the industry. Esthetics students attend classes 35 hours a week for 17 weeks.

The curriculum for students enrolled in the Nail Technician course will be 400 hours of practical training and technical instruction covering all aspects of the industry. Nail technology students attend classes 25 hours a week for 17 weeks.

We offer a selection of Advanced Courses to complete our curriculum and to meet the changing needs of every beauty professional. Whether you are learning a new skill or updating your craft on the latest advances, our advanced curriculum offers something for everyone.
