Our Staff
At Sidney's, we went "into the field" and
found experts to teach our students. It
is our opinion that if one is not or was
not successful in the field they will have
a difficult time teaching students the skills
they need to be successful.

come from all areas of the cosmetology field.

have been salon owners. stylist's and educators,
Each staff member brings unique talent to
the Sidney's team.
At Sidney's we believe that it is our job
to build for you a solid foundation of knowledge

strong basic knowledge, students cannot
be prepared for a lifetime career. Our staff,
with its strong salon and education background,
can provide you with what it will take for

today, for their students will not be prepared

Bill Wyer
President Mr. Wyer has been a cosmetologist
since 1976. He has been a past member of
the Kansas Hair Fashion Committee and past
Styles Director for the State. He is past
president of the Kansas Association of Private
Career Schools. He is a successful salon
owner and he knows what it takes for you
to succeed in the cosmetology profession.
Mr. Wyer is a national educator for Pivot
Point International. He conducts teacher
training seminars throughout the United
States.
As a Pivot Point educator, Mr. Wyer keeps
the Sidney's Staff abreast of the latest
techniques in education. At Sidney's we
believe that knowledge is useless until
it is meaningful and can be applied. We
know that every student learns differently.
In the Sidney's classroom students will
have the opportunity to learn through seeing,
touching, doing, and experiencing their
learning.
Enrollment Information
- When can I
start?
Sidney's starts five classes per year
: January, April, June, August, & November.
- How long does
it take?
Your training could be completed in as
little as 42 weeks.
- So how much
does it cost?
Tuition costs less than $7.50 per hour.
Financing is available. All books and
equipment are included.
- What's the
schedule?
You still get weekends off. Students attend
school Monday-Friday from 8:00-4:00 and
Thursday evenings until 7:00 p.m.
- What do I
learn?
Your cosmetology training covers three
main areas.
- HAIR: learn the newest techniques
of cutting, styling, perming, color,
and more.
- NAILS: manicuring, pedicuring, acrylics,
tips, fiberglass, you get it all.
- SKIN: facials, make-up, waxing,
skin care...all part of the cosmetology
curriculum.
