ABOUT OUR ESTELLE SKIN CARE and SPA INSTITUTE

Estelle Skin Care and Spa Institute specializes in preparing our graduates to work as estheticians in the field of medical esthetics and esthetics.  Estelle Skin Care and Spa Institute graduates work as estheticians in medical spas, plastic surgery and dermatology offices, salons, spas, as make up artists.  Many have also opened their own spas.

Our program includes not only the fundamentals of esthetics but also all of the advanced techniques and procedures as well as skin care products necessary to thrive in today's skin care industry.  Estelle Skin Care and Spa Institute students come to us from all parts of the Chicago area including Skokie, Evanston, Glenview, Glencoe, Rockford, Arlington Heights, Schaumburg, Wilmette, Grays Lake, Des Plaines, Park Ridge, as well as Wisconsin and Indiana and counties outside of the U.S.

ESCSI ESTHETICS PROGRAM:

Estelle Skin Care and Spa Institute's Esthetics program will give our graduate the knowledge to stand out in the industry.  Our vast curriculum includes the following topics:

• Perform a variety of facial procedures and treatments using top of the line products
• Perform advanced skin analysis using instruments such as skin ultrasound and recognize disorders
• Perform facial treatment with and without the aid of machines
• Perform glycolic skin peels (up to 30%)
• Full overview of Esthetics in a medical setting including an overview of laser and IPL equipment and theory of injectibles
• Advanced Pulse Light (demonstration)
• Photo light Therapy
• Advanced Electro-Therapy
• Proper client consultation as performed in a medical setting
• Understanding the role of the esthetician and the physician in a medical setting
• Apply makeup for day wear and evening wear, as well as special occasions
• Perform spa body treatments to exfoliate, detoxify, stimulate, tone and condition the skin
• Perform microdermabrasion
• Apply airbrush tanning and make up
• Perform permanent last extensions
• Perform hair removal with tweezers, depilatories, and waxing (electrolysis hair removal is excluded)
• Analyze skin using skin ultrasound machine, skin scope, and wood lamp
• Apply sales techniques for effective retailing
• Advanced Microdermabrasion with various machines
• Advanced Chemical Peels
