Ft. Lauderdale,
FL (Main Campus)
The Fort Lauderdale Campus is conveniently
located minutes from the city on the northeast
corner of Sample and Powerline Roads in
Pompano Beach, Florida. The campus is approximately
12,000 square feet in size.
Fort Lauderdale is a city whose beach front
extends for miles without interruption.
Honeycombed with more than 260 miles of
navigable waterways, the city is home to
about 4,000 privately owned boats. Visitors
can tour the canals via the city's water-taxi
system. The jewel of the downtown area is
a new arts and entertainment district. Broadway
shows at the Riverfront Broward Center for
the Performing Arts, exhibits at the Museum
of Art, the historic district, as well as
the Museum of Discovery and Science are
all within walking distance. Tying this
district together is the Riverwalk, which
extends one mile along the New River with
benches strategically placed in a tropical
garden setting.
Restaurants, sidewalk cafes, delis and blues,
folk, jazz, reggae and rock clubs flourish.
Outdoor recreational sports such as scuba
diving, fishing, roller-blading, sun bathing
and boating are popular year round.
