The School
B Street Design - School of International Hair Styling (formerlly College of Hair Design) is located in Overland Park, KS and offers a full time Cosmetology day class and a part time and full time Esthetics courses.

Our school offers essential programs which are key to becoming a professional stylist. Each of our schools has the same philosophy of excellence and dedication to helping you, our student, learn and succeed.

Programs
All programs are taught by highly qualified instructors and professionals, who will prepare you to pass state licensing requirements.

Cosmetology
Our course in cosmetology will allow you to explore the latest trends in haircutting, styling, skin care, haircoloring, chemical reformation, manicuring, pedicuring, artificial nails and makeup. You also learn salon management and techniques to ensure that you will be able to make the most of your new career.

Esthetics
Esthetics is a relatively new term for a profession that has been around since antiquity. Estheticians are regarded as skin-care technicians who also deal with make-up artistry and hair removal. Although it is true that most estheticians are found in salons and day spas, they may also work as cosmeticians in department stores demonstrating and selling products or in the office of a dermatologist or plastic surgeon as a paramedical assistant or many other areas of the field.


As a highly trained specialist in the field of skin care and make-up, you will be relied upon by your clients to provide them with your expertise on how to take care of their skin, what make-up looks best and to assist them in what has become known as a "hands-on" business.
