Founded by trailblazer and celebrated beauty industry icon Mario Tricoci, Tricoci University of Beauty Culture continues to transform the traditional approach to beauty education, and was named Best World Academy in 2010.  Our Chicago Northeast location offer students programs in Cosmetology and Teacher Training.  The campus is conveniently located off of the Red Line Loyola Station, in the heart of Loyola University campus in Rogers Park.  We are committed to teaching a new generation of beauty industry students ethical leadership, professionalism, and the art and science of cosmetology and esthetics-all at an advanced level.

A different approach to beauty education

Our TUBC locations offer students experienced educators teach a curriculum unlike that of most other beauty schools. By giving our students systematic foundational education, rather than teaching outdated and inflexible "one size fits all" services, they can truly excel as inventive and creatively competent professionals.

Instead of introducing a limited set of cookie-cutter hair, skin and nail services, TUBC will teach you sophisticated and adaptable techniques, skills and information. This method creates true professionals who can identify product attributes based on ingredients and chemistry rather than the brand name itself; who can customize a cut, color, style, skin care needs or hand/foot treatment needs on the spot; and who have the confidence and skill set to continuously grow and thrive as an artistic beauty industry professional.

Programs

The programs at Tricoci University of Beauty Culture offer the most well rounded education in the beauty industry.  You'll realize what a special learning environment we have the moment you walk through our doors.  As you delve into our programs, you won't simply stop at the basics-you'll learn the science, chemistry, technique and business of hair, skin and/or nails, plus advanced techniques not taught at other schools. Salon owners know what the Tricoci name stands for, and our challenging, hands-on training and superior facilities will prepare you for an exciting variety of career options.

• Cosmetology: 11 months full time * 18 months part time
• Esthetics: 6 months full time * 10 months part time
• Teacher training: Length varies to program
