We follow all requirements that the Arizona State Board of Cosmetology has established. Our goals include preparation for State Board and for the maximum potential in career opportunities available to each licensed professional.

Cosmetology
The cosmetology program is designed to prepare students for the state licensing examination and for employment.

The Tucson College of Beauty stresses philosophy of excellence in haircutting coloring and all subjects regarding hair, complimented by lectures, videos, demonstrations and live models. This course includes extensive instruction and practical experience in cutting, coloring, perming, retailing products and business ethics. Our curriculum also stresses the following: disinfection, quality customer service, personal appearance and hygiene, personal motivation and development, positive attitude state laws and regulations, and job interviewing.

The Tucson College of Beauty divides the state's requirements into levels of instruction. It is the Tucson College of Beauty's policy that each student must complete and successfully pass evaluations for each level with a percentage grade average of 75% or higher before being entitled to proceed to the next level. The student's training consists of specific subjects of study and "hands on" experience with clientele.

Esthetician
The Esthetician program is designed to prepare students for the State licensing examination and for profitable employment.

This course includes extensive instruction and practical experience in anatomy and physiology, chemistry, aromatherapy (aromaology), massage, hair removal and waxing. Our curriculum also stresses the following: disinfection, quality customer service, personal appearance and hygiene, personal motivation and development, positive attitude, state laws and regulations, and job interviewing.
