Overview of Programs
Our Cosmetology Course features Hair Care, Nail Care, and Skin Care. The curriculum at Ulupono Academy meets or exceeds all requirements of the Hawaii State Board of Cosmetology and Barbering for hours of study.
Rather than concentrate only on the basic training needed to pass the state board licensing exams, Ulupono Academy will provide you with a well rounded "lifestyle" education. Our experienced staff is specially trained to help our Future Professionals explore every creative and professional possibility.

Cosmetology Program
The Cosmetology Program features Hair Care, Nail Care, and Skin Care.

The Cosmetology Program explores design, cutting, coloring, multi-cultural techniques, makeup, the science of bone structure, and facial-shape adaptability.

The Skin Care Program offers a new depth of understanding and knowledge of classic professional techniques like building the ultimate skin care protocol, skin analysis, ingredient technology, waxing, makeup techniques, and prescriptive retailing.

The Nail Care Program guides you in mastering the skills, science, and creativity required by the nail enhancement industry, as well as introducing you to ongoing discoveries in the science of hand and foot beauty.

Enrollment Requirements
To begin your career in cosmetology you need to be at least 17 years of age, have a High School Diploma or G.E.D and a great attitude.

We invite you to take a tour with our Admissions Leader and meet our excited and motivated team.
