Our nationally accredited curriculums are designed to ensure success all the way through to your state or national licensing examinations.

Students are trained to evaluate and identify skin and body conditions as well as excel in theory, technique, anatomy, chemistry, product knowledge, exam prep, preparing for your first job interview and more. Confidence and skill sets are developed in our busy, supervised student clinic where all classroom instruction is reinforced. Students will also benefit from guest lecturers, field trips, product demonstrations & employer visits.

Many students learn to avoid slow seasonal periods by licensing themselves in more than one area. USTA recognizes this trend & rewards students who enroll in another program with us.

As a Dermalogica Partnership School, our students are able to participate in specialized training at the International Dermal Institute in Chicago every month. Our students will also recieve specialized on-site educational visits by the International Dermal Institute team that includes Career-Mapping, and opportunity to learn career paths set by industry experts.

Massage Therapy is one of today's fastest-growing fields. Alternative ways to promote healing are being accepted by the health care industry and massage therapists are in high demand. Recent graduates of the massage program have gone on to rewarding careers working in medical facilities, sports training environments, resorts, health spas and also in private practice.

Career opportunities are expanding and so will your earning potential. At USTA, we operate one of the busiest student clinics in the area. Our students build their confidence and technique in our supervised student clinic, where all classroom instruction in reinforced. Students can begin to build a client base almost immediately. Unlike other schools, we will not charge you for the extra courses you'll need to become a proficient and effective Massage Therapist. We include them at no additional cost.

350 Hr. Nail Technology Training Program

Our Nail Technology Training Program offers students both the theory and practical skills necessary to pass the Illinois State Exam and to also become a confident and effective Nail Technician. Manicures and pedicures are just the begining for students enrolled in the nail program. Among the basics, students will learn nail care, nail art, artificial nails and gel nails. As a Nail technician in training, students are able to recieve real world experience in our busy supervised student clinic.

USTA has partnered with OPI, the World Leader in Professional Nail Products. Students will study and practice with the most recognized brand of nail care products in the world. A quality product not only looks great to employers but it means you're keeping up with the latest trends in nails.

Class Schedules:

USTA offers day and evening classes for full and part time students.
Aesthetics: Full time: 5 months / Part time: 10 months
Massage Therapy: Full time: 6 months / Part time: 8 months
Nail Technology: Fill and part time: 5 months

For Chicago commuters, the Metra train conveniently stops outside our front door. We have parking for 50 and are located just east of downtown Downer's Grove.
