 The
primary objective of the school is to provide
students the education, business knowledge
and practical experience necessary to become
a Licensed Aesthetician and/or a Licensed
Nail Technician.
We are a Dermalogica Partnership Plus School
that offers a full spectrum of training
that stresses the basics as well as the
advanced education without the extra cost
and time that other schools require. Our
faculty is a skilled team of experienced
instructors with knowledge of classic and
contemporary techniques. Instructors have
real world experience and have exceeded
program licensing requirements. They are
trained in all aspects of skin, nails, massage,
body care and related subjects.

our students who choose to become multi-licensed
and enroll in another program with us. EVERY
graduate of USTA will automatically be eligible
for the following discounts:
- Students signing up for their 2nd program

AESTHETICS TRAINING
PROGRAM
A Dermalogica® Partnership Plus School.
Resumes will stand out with a Partnership
Plus school.
Universal Spa is proud to offer students
a state approved program to become a Licensed
Aesthetician. Your training will be done
in a state-of-the-art facility providing
a real-life environment; thus allowing students
to perfect their skills in realistic surroundings
on real people.
 We
offer a full-time day program for 6 months
and a part-time evening program for 11 months.
Students will gain hands on training in
our busy, fully equipped student clinic,
which is open to the public.
The Aesthetics curriculum incorporates theoretical
and practical study that covers not only
basic subject matter, but technical and
scientific applications as well. Our understanding
of industry trends has contributed to a
refined aesthetic program that sets us apart
from other programs.
Our Aesthetics program curriculum includes
advanced training in Microdermabrasion and
mini-peels. As a Universal Spa graduate,
you are also invited to take advantage of
significant savings at The International
Dermal Institute, the premier provider of
post graduate education in skin and body
therapy. Areas of study will include but
not limited to:

As a Dermalogica Partnership School, our
students are able to participate in specialized
training at the International Dermal Institute
in Chicago every month. Our students will
also receive specialized on-site educational
visits by the International Dermal Institute
team that includes Career-Mapping®, an opportunity
to learn career paths set by industry experts.
As an added benefit, upon obtaining your
Aesthetics License, Dermalogica will partner
with our graduates to find them the best
career direction that fits their individual
needs.
NAIL TECHNOLOGY
PROGRAM
Fully Equipped Learning Environment
OPI Partnership School
Our Nail Technology Training Program offers
students both the theory and practical skills
necessary to pass the state boards and to
become a confident able and effective Nail
Technician. Manicures and pedicures are
just the beginning for students enrolled
in our Universal Nail Technology Training
Program.
Among the basics, students will learn nail
care, nail art, artificial nails and gel
nails. As a Nail Technician in training,
students are able to receive real world
experience in our busy supervised student
clinic. After completion of our 350 hour
Nail Technology program, students will have
the knowledge and practical experience necessary
to sit and pass the Illinois State Licensing
Exam.

The Universal Nail Academy is partnered
with OPI®, The World Leader in Professional
Nail Products. Students will study and practice
