Programs
The Massage Therapy program at Vatterott
College prepares students to become licensed
massage therapy professionals. Students
who successfully complete this program will
receive the education and training they
need to prepare for the State Board Examination.
The Massage Therapy program provides an
introduction to massage and related techniques,
and prepares the student for the National
Certification Examination for Therapeutic
Massage and Bodywork. Beginning with an
introduction to anatomy and physiology,
the program teaches soft tissue manipulation
and complementary therapies. During the
last portion of the program, students spend
half their time practicing massage therapy
techniques.
