Advanced Classes
Descriptions
Advanced Skin Analysis
Students will be trained to identify all
skin types and conditions. Step-by-step
treatment procedure for oily/acne and dry/mature
skin will b Galvanic
Current Skin Care Treatmente
part of the class. Mixtures and skin care
product information will be offered for
oily and dry skin treatment.
Students will be trained how to use the
Galvanic current for specific skin conditions.
Advanced Disincrustation method using the
GC and the electric mask will be presented
within the class.
Product Knowledge
- Products
for the Face and Neck
Students will be introduced to a meticulous
description of skin care products for oily
and dry skin. A full skin care regimen for
oily and dry skin combined with a complete
skin analysis case study will enable the
students to identify the ingredients used
today in skin care products.
Zinc Oxide and
Silicones
The topic of the class will refer to the
most common ingredients used today by skin
care manufacturers. Students will be trained
about the importance of these two ingredients
for better, healthier skin.
Lactic Acid/Glycolic
Acid Anti-wrinkle and anti-scarring treatment.
It is a gentle AHA treatment which will
improve the skin texture, transforming the
skin into a smother, instantly better-looking
skin. A step-by-step treatment procedure,
expectations, outcomes, and a home regimen
procedure make this hands-on training session
one of the most relevant procedures to the
beauty industry today.
 Microdermabrasion
The class includes equipment description,
skin analysis, recommendations for the treatment,
contraindications and side effects, home
regimen before and after the treatment,
practical procedures during the treatment,
and product knowledge which will cover the
cosmetic ingredients used during such treatment.
Anti-Aging Ultrasound
Facial Treatment
The subject matter of the class will comprise
the step by step procedure while ultrasound
is used during facial procedures. Skin analysis,
extended descriptions of all conditions
of the skin which will be treated by the
ultrasound will be taught as well as indications,
contraindications, side effects, ingredients,
types of ultrasound and hands-on procedure.
Seaweed Body Wrap
The students will learn about this luxurious
treatment which exfoliates the skin, detoxifying
and oxygenating the body. Massage techniques
used by an esthetician while performing
a body treatment will be covered as well.
The topic will also include recommendations
for the treatment, skin description, cellulite
as a skin disorder, ingredients to combat
cellulite, and supplements which keep the
body lean.
Practical State
Board
The students will be taught how to prepare
their kit for the practical examination
and how to complete each step required by
the State Board of Nevada in order to pass
the licensure exam. In-depth descriptions
of each step, materials and supplies needed
for the Board exam will be explained to
the students.
Customized Facial Treatment
The students will be able to learn how to
identify each skin condition and skin types.
Upon this identification they will learn
what type of treatment is designed for each
type of skin. Advanced product knowledge
will be offered in regards to this topic.
Organic Facial
Treatment
Whole foods, fruits, legumes, vegetables,
vitamins and minerals will be used instead
of standard skin care products. The students
will be trained how to complete an advanced
facial without using over-the-counter skin
care products. The topic of this class includes
massage techniques, ingredients knowledge,
and recipes and mixtures for this treatment.
Deep Cleansing
Facial - Skin Scrapping
The students will learn to clean the skin
deeply into its structure by using Galvanic
current, cleansing and nourishing the skin
by using currents and skin care ingredients
Advanced knowledge about skin structure,
functions and disorders will enable students
to perform such treatment.
