This includes skin care specialists or estheticians, particularly as customers seek advice and professional treatment to keep skin healthy and looking young. In Oklahoma, estheticians must be licensed by the state and must complete a course of study as part of their requirements at one of the many esthetics schools in Oklahoma. In Oklahoma, estheticians or facialists must acquire a facial operator license. To earn this license, applicants must be older than 16 years and have completed the 8th grade. They must also complete a course of study of at least 600 hours of study or their credit equivalent and pass the written and practical examinations.
