Estheticians in Oregon are sometimes closely associated with the medical field assisting dermatologists and plastic surgeons with follow-up care. The Oregon board of cosmetology requires 250 hours of training at one of the Oregon esthetics schools to get licensed. The Oregon State Board of Cosmetology requires all students to complete 150 hours of Safety and Infection Control.
