As a licensed nail technician, you can provide clients with manicures, pedicures, artificial nails, and nail art for special events.
After you finish a thorough nail technology training program, you can register to take your licensing exams through the Alabama Board of Cosmetology and Barbering. Before you can submit your applications and take your tests, you must pay $235 in testing and license fees. Finally, the board verifies your test scores and rewards your hard work with a nail technician license.
Whether you can already create dozens of nail art designs or this is your first time looking into nail care, training is crucial. In fact, it is a required part of licensure in Alabama.
