LTI's School of Spa and Cosmetology Arts can help you turn your creativity into a career. Our cosmetology, esthetics, and nail technician curriculum is designed to cover it all - from basic skills like cutting and styling to complex procedures such as chemical texture services, skin care, manicures, and pedicures.
Our comprehensive cosmetology curriculum covers a wide variety of skills including classes in hair styling and color, manicuring, skin care, chemical services, and salon management. You will have the opportunity for supervised practice in the school's full-service cosmetology clinic and perform services for real clients. This clock-hour program is designed to train students in both theory and practical experience. The courses are structured to give each student a well-rounded and marketable education. After completion of 1,250 hours of instruction AND successful completion of the Cosmetology program, the graduate must take and pass the licensure examination through the Pennsylvania State Board of Cosmetology in order to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The exam consists of a written portion and a practical portion. All classes prepare our students to take and to pass the exam; a mock state board exam is available to the student prior to the actual exam.
