Tabatha Takes Over a Beauty School

If you love beauty like we do, then you might remember her from Shear Genius and Tabatha's Salon Takeover, now turned  Tabatha Takes Over, which airs every Tuesday night at 10 PM EST on Bravo. Tabatha Coffey is professional hairstylist who is quite dedicated to sharing her wisdom regarding hair design, and is savvy about turning businesses around. In fact, Tabatha Coffey is edgy, knowledgeable and just plain entertaining on this show.

Coffey is a straight-talker with sound business skills that stem from her decade worth of experience as a predominant member of the Artistic Team, which is known globally. Her flawless resume includes working for some of the top names in the industry and her 27-year career dealing with both hair design and education. During this series, she'll be putting these skills to good use, because some of the businesses she is going to bring her expertise to really need it. If you're still not convinced that this show is a must-see, her award from Logo is definitely reassuring. Logo's fourth annual NewNowNext Awards graced her with the award for being the most addictive reality star.

On March 6, you can expect to see the latest episode of Tabatha Takes Over, and she’ll be kicking some butt and taking some names, and for all the right reasons. Flavio Beauty College in Torrance, CA was once a prevalent business, but now that 84-year old legend Flavio Bisignano is passing down the legacy of his name and establishment to his daughter Tiana, it's far from the business it started out as. Although Tiana is not a hairdresser by profession, she did spend a great deal of time at the school while she was growing up.When Ms. Coffey visits this beauty school, she is absolutely appalled by the behavior of the teachers there. Let’s face it; it’s not entirely the students fault that the school has poor attendance and below average grades on exams. And in this case, the teachers just aren't living up to their role, so the students suffer. The establishment is failing, due to the teachers not educating and the students feeling uninspired and basically bored. The students are attending class less and grades are spiraling downward. We're positive Tabatha has what it takes to whip this beauty school in to shape, but what do you think?

Tabatha also will be visiting Paul Mitchell The School in Costa Mesa. Don't worry though, Tabatha isn’t always at a location to critique it. In fact, in this case, she’s going there to applaud the school and make a positive example out of it to help Flavio Beauty College figure out how to turn their school around.
