I'm still affected from that place. The people Valencia Swift hired and she were very unprofessional. She is old enough to be my great grandmother and was acting like a child. She let so much slide for example; if there was someone doing inappropriate things who still had 3 months to go, etc, she wouldn't say anything to them because she wanted to keep them around to keep them checks coming in. She wasn't fair and was super messy.(Instigator) I guess she was scared to act like an adult thinking that was going to affect her money flow. She would steal from her students and talk about her students negatively, whenever they completed their hours , gossip and speak about students confidential business when they had to miss a day of school. She also would let people argue and pretend like she didn't notice what was going on. Every other day her son would stop by to see which female he wanted to try and shoot his shot at like it was a truck stop.

Called to ask how much a hair trim, a deep conditioner, a protein treatment and braids cost. The lady said $275. I said ok now with the protein treatment I have very thick hair that other places have to use more than 2. She said oh then that's $325. I am so confused because that is professional shop job and that's with box braids not braids going back. I asked if they were open to do clients hair tomorrow she said no then hung up. Not sure how to feel I guess everyone has a bad day. I just can't do those high prices for a beauty school. Sorry

The manager or owner that works here does her clients there at the school. She is the school director. And she works out of a station there at the school doing clients. While her students learn on their own. I have spoken to her before a couple of years beach. She offered me a chair there at the school while it operated as a school. She said she would charge me 85.00 dollars a week. If I could so teach as I worked doing my clients there. All of what she told me- IS AGAINST TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF LICENSING AND REGULATIONS. As a cosmetology school director, and instructor when I worked there. I declined. What kind of school is that?
