GREAT EXPERIENCE! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Parking - Easy and free Scheduling - Easy (online or phone) Facilities - Wonderful (hair, nails, and skin) Services - Affordable, professional, and awesome Prices - SO LOW Quality - VERY HIGH I always enjoy beauty schools, but this one is several steps above. I scheduled a haircut, facial, and eyebrow wax + tint; and every service was enjoyable and with phenomenal results (all for less than $100 btw). Shania cut my hair, and I love the movement and volume she managed to give my thin hair. She rescued a terrible cut I got at a professional salon. My facial was right on par with expensive salons, but this one is priced at only $45 (+tip). This was my very first eyebrow tint, and Ashlyn walked me through everything and did an amazing job with both shade and shape. I left feeling excited to return again. They allow for online scheduling, but I usually call when scheduling more than one service. The front desk staff are so friendly and helpful. The facilities are wonderful, with tons of haircut stations, a large nail area with several spa chairs, and a totally separate quiet space for facials and brows. Both the staff and students are passionate and professional, and they take time to listen to your goals. If you're willing to spend a bit more time, I cannot recommend this place enough. I also want to give a special shoutout to the instructors, who were wonderful to watch with the students. They were incredibly kind, patient, and supportive in their instruction. They gave their students space to practice techniques, and they walked through every step to help a student perfect the approach and craft. It was really lovely to learn more about what is going on when getting a haircut. I would have loved to have teachers like that! Haircut - Shania (AWESOME blunt cut and layers!) Facial & Brows - Ashlyn (PHENOMENAL with both services. Get there quick, as she graduates soon!) Instructors - Derek with an awesome assist from Sully (both a masterclass in guided instruction, and I was lucky enough to watch.)

I graduated the cosmetology program in August 2025 and am so grateful for my experience here! My instructors were so invested in the success of their students and were so encouraging every step of the way! I’ve now been working behind the chair for almost a year and can personally attest to how well prepared SJI made me to work in a salon! The patience and guidance my instructors gave me has made such a lasting impact on me. I’m so glad that I made the choice to attend SJI for my cosmetology program!

Jess is the absolute best at what she does and she loves it! You can tell!! I’ve had a back facial which was the absolute most relaxing thing ever. I also had a glow facial, back wax and full face wax. I will definitely be her first client once she graduates! This Institute makes you feel welcome and everyone is friendly and knowledgeable. The vision for Stacey James Institute was formed out of Stacey's creative talent and her desire for students to have the best quality education possible. At Stacey James Institute we have a learning environment that is state of the art, upbeat, positive, and comfortable. We use a hands on approach to learning and recognize that every student is also our client. We feel that every student should graduate feeling confident to enter the industry ready to work. We want you to feel confident in knowing the retro styles along with the current trends in the industry. We'll give you the opportunity to learn in a working environment and to experience situations that salons have daily.
At Stacey James Institute there will always be a professional in attendance making sure you are comfortable every step of the way with your education. In fact we require that our instructors have a minimum of 2 years documented experience working "hands on" in the industry and we also put them through continual training. Many Stacey James instructors have built successful careers and currently still maintain an active clientele. Their goal is to pass their knowledge of the industry on to you, and to give you the tools to succeed in the ever changing beauty world.

Goals / Objectives / Licensing / Placement
Stacey James is dedicated to the success of our graduates and we help with job skills development & offer assistance to graduates such as job lead referrals through our relationships we have built with other salons & spas throughout the community. Current law prohibits any school from guaranteeing job placement as an inducement to enroll students. However, at Stacey James we know the education you will receive is second to none! We pride ourselves in graduating students who are competent and ready to work in the industry.
