Super friendly environment and everyone seems really eager to learn. Went in yesterday for a trim and some layers, got a treatment as well which was awesome, but the student was clearly quite new to long hair and once my hair dried I could see that the layers were quite choppy. Went back the next day and I said to just cut another 1-2 inches to remove the layers. Both the student and instructor agreed that the layers were choppy. Was happy with the result, but disappointed that they didn't offer the correction for free (was prepared to tip them the $9 anyway). Make sure you have an open schedule if you come (took over 3 hours the first day) and that you're not looking for a very complicated hair cut. I would recommend the treatments they have though.

Their cosmetology program takes seven to 12 months to complete, depending on if you attend full- or part-time, and covers topics from hair styling to eyelash extensions and tinting.
You could instead complete a barber program in that same amount of time.
If you have a cosmetology license, you could enroll in their cosmo-barber crossover program. This 300-hour program trains students to work as cosmetologists and barbers.
They don't forget about their students after they leave, instead spotlighting them on their blog. In addition to working in typical cosmetology and barber positions, graduates may become business owners, perform services for celebrities, transition into careers in medical esthetics, and more.
