In the School's Words

Approved and Regulated by the Colorado Department of Higher Education, Division of Private Occupational School Board. Financing is available.

Welcome to Accent Beauty Academy, where we believe the foundation of a successful career as an esthetician begins with a quality education. Skincare is a “hands on” business: facials, waxing etc. and your education should be hands on too. Colorado requires 600 hours of training, ideally split approximately 150 hours of theory and 450 hours of hands on in the clinic.

To meet the 600 hours our program uses a 2-part hybrid teaching method with 1 day of theory online and 3 days hands on live in the classroom / clinic. Online is done using Milady’s esthetics textbooks and their “CIMA” learning platform proven to increase student outcomes. Both the online and student classroom / clinic instruction is led by experienced licensed esthetician instructors, supplemented with industry subject matter experts as guest speakers.

Together we work with our students to educate, train, and carefully monitor your progress to prepare you to pass the Colorado licensing exams and start your career as a skilled esthetician.

All students receive a Chromebook, access to Milady’s online Esthetics Foundations and Fundamentals textbooks and related course materials and a comprehensive quality kit of the necessary tools and supplies for your training. The student classrooms and clinics are well equipped and utilize high quality teaching and esthetician equipment and skincare products.
