As a recent graduate of the Massage Therapy program at American Institute, I would highly recommend it. The accredited school offers, multiple options for students to accommodate their work/life schedule. I chose the accelerated program and would highly recommend it to anyone who is serious about becoming a licensed massage therapist and improving their life. During my tour of the school, I met with the director of the Massage Therapy program, Ms. Latisha, which I believe is a very professional and personal introduction to the program. I felt important and her presence ensured me that she truly cares about the success of her students and the program. During our brief meeting, I was able to ask her questions and bring forth any concerns I had. As a former homemaker, who graduated years ago, I felt encouraged and supported after speaking with Ms. Latisha. Ms. Latisha and the instructors, Ms. Nerissa and Mr. Lamont are immensely passionate, intelligent, and resourceful. Each instructor has a unique perspective and approach to convey the material as well as real life experience. Ms. Latisha, Ms. Nerissa, and Mr. Lamont all went above and beyond to ensure that my class and I understood each subject and created a safe environment for us to ask questions. We were able to engage with our instructors in real time, receive feedback, and adjust to ensure our success. I found each instructor to be extremely fair and accommodating to my classmates and I whenever life would life! That alone would be a reason why I would recommend the program to any and everyone. In addition, Ms. Latisha, Ms. Nerissa, and Mr. Lamont are successful practicing LMTs, which as a student provides clarity to life after graduation. Overall, I enjoyed my experience at American Institute and am grateful for the instructors Ms. Nerissa and Mr. Lamont, and director Ms. Latisha for their roles in my success as a current Licensed Massage Therapist. Again, I would highly recommend this program to anyone passionate about massage therapy and seeking a program committed to you succeeding!

Your teaching skills as a massage therapy instructor are beyond amazing. You teach with patience, professionalism, wisdom, and genuine care for every student you guide. You have a special way of making complex techniques feel understandable while encouraging us to believe in our abilities. Your passion for massage therapy shines through in every lesson, demonstration, and conversation. Because of your dedication, we are not only learning the art of massage, but also the importance of healing, compassion, and excellence. This school is amazing! I enrolled in September 2025, and within a month I found employment related to what I'm learning (Electrical Trades Technology). The staff is friendly and supportive of any questions or concerns I have. The instructors are very good at not only teaching the material, but also going above and beyond when students are struggling to grasp the concepts. In my case, Johnnie Jimenez helped me through moments I broke down and thought I couldn't do it. Words can't express how grateful I am to feel so concerned about at American Institute!
