I love Ms. Julie she was super knowledgeable about phlebotomy, she not only taught us with the textbook, but showed up realistic tips for the real world. The class session was very rigorous but she had a lot of study tips so that we could pass. Definitely have a lot of volunteer options as there are not a lot of them available at the school even though they tried their best with getting them. Her curriculum was very helpful, and gave us a wealth of information. She also provided advice for career advancement as well, and helping build connections with different companies that could be hiring us.

In the beginning of this journey, I wasn’t too sure how I was going to complete the course. After the first week, everything became a little more manageable. The encouragement from my classmates, the staff at American Institute, and my instructor, Mrs. Julie—who has been nothing but a tower of strength—made all the difference. The encouraging words, study guides, and materials provided helped me become the phlebotomist I am today. Thank you to American Institute for giving me the opportunity to be a student and now a phlebotomist.

Just finished my final for phlebotomy and if you even have an inkling of wanting to try, I'd recommend the course. You get a lot of hands on experience with routine venipunctures and if your volunteers are willing, dorsal punctures. The teacher herself, Mrs. Julie, is a very kind, delightful person and is truly fount of knowledge and genuinely wants her students to succeed and be the phlebotobest they can be.
