Artistic Academy a cosmetology and aesthetics school where our objective is to prepare and educate the individual to be qualified to enter the many fields of cosmetology and aesthetics. To successfully allow the individual to obtain security in a rewarding profession, while training the student to successfully pass the State Board Examination for his or her license.
Mission
We are dedicated to providing an opportunity to pursue a career in the Art and Sciences of Cosmetology (Hair, Skin, Nails and Barbering).
It is our desire to lay a foundation in both theory and practice that will prepare our students for an exciting journey leading to high self-esteem and a quality lifestyle.
We strive to exceed not only what is expected from us, but also what we expect of ourselves.
Course Outlines
We offer programs in Cosmetology and Aesthetics.
During the first part of both programs, your training will consist of lectures, demonstrations, practicing on mannequins and fellow students, written and practical examinations. After passing of both the practical and written midterm, recommendation of your instructor and a doctor's certificate, you will advance to the Senior floor. The remaining hours will consist of class projects, additional lectures, salon management and honing skills in the Senior Clinic. The Senior Clinic patrons pay a reduced fee for services performed by students in training. As a Senior student you will perform services on clients, building your self-esteem and knowledge.
Cosmetology
The educational objective of the complete Cosmetology curriculum is to provide the student with sufficient training to pass the State Board Exam, become properly licensed, and perform duties required under such license to secure employment at an entry level.
A cosmetologist/hairstylist license allows an individual to practice all phases of cosmetology. Hair, Skincare, Nails & Barbering.
Aesthetics
The educational objectives of the Aesthetics curriculum is to provide the student with sufficient training to pass the State Board Exam, become properly licensed and perform all duties required under such license to secure employment at an entry level.
An aesthetics license allows an individual to practice all phases of aesthetics. (Facials, Waxing, Body Treatment and Makeup Artistry).
Financial Aid
Financial Aid provides assistance to students who qualify for educational related expense. Artistic Academy of Hair Design provides financial assistance approved by the U.S. Department of Education for the following programs to qualified students in order to help meet the costs of education:

We believe every student should be able to obtain an education regardless of financial status. Our Financial Aid office will assist students in completing the necessary forms and counsel students on money management and loan responsibility. To determine a student's financial need, we utilize the Federal Need Analysis set forth by the U.S. Department of Education. For funds to be available for students, we encourage candidate students to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at least 30 days prior to their start date.
