If I could attend Aveda again, I absolutely would. I’ve never really enjoyed school, but Mrs. Jas made learning fun and exciting. She created an environment where I genuinely looked forward to coming to class every day. Mrs. Jas consistently went above and beyond for her students. Her positive attitude, patience, and passion for teaching were evident in everything she did. When I shared that I had a learning disability, she took the time to accommodate my needs and support me in a way that meant more to me than she’ll ever know. If you’re considering esthetics school, look no further than Aveda Arts & Sciences Institute. I just had the best salon experience I’ve ever had with the amazing Erum Beg. The colour was so much better than I could’ve imagined and she was so kind. It was my first time out the house for a stretch without having my baby with me since she was born six months ago and Erum has totally transformed my hair and made me feel like my old self. Aveda Arts and Sciences Institutes focuses on a holistic approach to beauty. The fast-paced cosmetology program combines classroom theory with hands-on practice in salon and spa environments. The program covers everything from cutting and coloring to nail care and makeup application.
The esthiology program focuses on using skin care rituals and Aveda-trademarked flower and plant essences. In addition, students train in facials, waxing, makeup application, business development, and wellness knowledge for retail purposes.
