In the School's Words
The Aveda Institute Provo was founded to create the most successful entrepreneurs in hairdressing and esthetics. Our curriculum provides practical knowledge gained from today's most successful masters in hair, skin and nail esthetics, makeup, and retail sales.
We place great emphasis on wellness, which relates to one's individual self, as well as the ecosystem. This is reflected in our use of Aveda products and Aveda's exclusive use of pure flower and plant essences.
Students learn the relationship between personal beauty and wellness, and the environment, which is what we call "economic, systemic, and waste-free management.
The Institute Mission
"Our mission at Aveda is to care for the world we live in, from the products we make to the ways in which we give back to society. At Aveda, we strive to set an example for environmental leadership and responsibility, not just in the world of beauty, but around the world". - Horst Rechelbacher, founder Aveda
