Payton P. at the Aveda salon did an excellent job washing and blowing out my hair. The scalp massage during the wash was amazing, and she was incredibly gentle throughout the blowout. My hair had beautiful volume and felt healthy and smooth. Such a relaxing and professional experience—I’ll definitely be back!

Wed.eve was probably my 56th visit to Aveda for hair-color/ highlights. It was the second time, only, where I purposely booked a second appointment with a student that I had liked from a prior visit. All but 1 or 2 Haircolor visits in past 10 years have made it worth the time it takes to have the work done by students. Darby is what set this (and my previous) visit apart. This young woman has the personality of two students! While very confidently handling my color last time and my color plus highlights this time, DARBY was able to connect not just with me but with other students around her who seemed to appreciate her help (also students in the washout room). DARBY has the interpersonal skills that can’t be taught to a student, but could be pointed to as a model of what I liked, and what I feel a lot of women friends of mine would relate to when considering whether to go to Aveda for their hair care. I wish her much success. The new procedure is very confusing. I understand change is hard, but having the system go down when it was time to be checked-out made me dependent on Alyssa’s competence to see that a prior arranged appointment from the old system, would receive the 20% off discount that is most important to me. I will continue to try to work with the new system until I understand it as I’m very pleased with the hair color /highlights and aftercare product Darby used and recommended.

I had a partial foil done by Nicole. She did an absolutely beautiful job. I appreciate her taking her time to make sure no stone was left unturned. I am very careful with my hair and so was she! Great job! I'm attaching pictures. My natural color was solid brown.
