Vivian did an amazing job with a full set of highlights and cut. Took a long time but you have to remember these are students trying to get experience with real people,so the time should not matter, as it didn't with me. I wish I could add a picture of her amazing work. Thanks Vivian and good luck with graduation

This was my first time back to Aveda in many years, and I'm happy to say that overall it was a great experience. This review is specifically for Joelyn (and Kristen from Michigan). These ladies did an A-M-A-Z-I-N-G job on my haircut and I have absolutely loved it and all of the compliments I've received over the past couple of weeks. You brought my hair back to life! The entire visit did take a little longer than I was expecting (about 3.5 hours) but ended up being much more than just a haircut (hair wash, deep condition, iron work - pretty much a silk press, and of course my fabulous cut). So in all it wasn't so bad. The reason for one less star is because when I called to schedule the appointment I mentioned that my hair was relaxed and at no point did the person who I spoke with tell me that I might need additional services along with my haircut. So, I ended up finding that out once I sat down with Joelyn, and naturally it cost more money. With that being said, my one suggestion would be to let customers know about that possibility so that it's not such a surprise for us upon arrival. Sidebar: I can't speak to how they'd do with natural hair, but it looked like they had a nice variety of stylist (culturally speaking), in comparison to when I used to go many years ago. Not to mention, Joelyn, who herself had a beautiful head of curls!
