I would not recommend. I went for a press and curl and my hair looked like it had just been blow dried with a few curls put in it. It was very puffy before I even walked out of the salon and the student kept trying to flatten it with her hands and blamed the puffiness on my ends. I think the students provide some of their own tools, and unfortunately the products and flat iron used by my stylist were not the best quality. I couldn’t find an instructor to talk to before leaving, and of course you pay at the beginning of the service, so I had no choice but to go home looking like a troll doll. I went back the next day so they could remedy it, but all they offered was to redo the press and I was not comfortable with more heat being applied to my hair.

The cosmetology and barber-styling programs take between a year and 18 months to complete. Esthetics and instructor programs take around five to nine months, while the hair braiding and makeup artistry programs only require five or six weeks.
Classes begin every Tuesday so students can enroll throughout the year, and they have an array of day or evening classes for full or part-time study.
The school also offers online continuing education courses for cosmetologists, barbers, manicurists, estheticians, and instructors who need to renew their professional licenses.
