I would like to shout out Ms.Shawnna. She is without a doubt a treasure at Dorsey. She’s incredibly professional, kind and cares about every single student in her class. The entire class loves her. If you aspire to be a future aesthetician, you’d be lucky to have her as your teacher.

At Dorsey School of Beauty in Taylor, MI, our hands-on training programs are provided in smaller classes led by licensed instructors. Established in 1975 as Taylortown School of Beauty, the school specializes in providing cosmetology training. In 2011, Taylortown School of Beauty became Dorsey School of Beauty. Over the years, both instructors and administration have worked continuously to provide quality cosmetology education and facilities.

The goal of accreditation is to ensure that education provided by institutions of higher education meet or exceed an acceptable level of quality. Dorsey School of Beauty is proud to have achieved accreditation through the following:
