I am writing this review two years later after being silent about this PREJUDICE SCHOOL… Thinking I was going to come in and learn about ALL texture hair. And was told “if I wanted to learn about BLACK HAIR that I would need to take another class elsewhere” . I should have known something was off when there were ONLY two black students in class. And the ONLY hair we learned about was basically any hair texture BUT black. It’s quite disgusting and false advertisement if you ask me. Especially when I ASKED if they taught about black hair BEFORE APPLYING. If I’m paying an arm and leg to go too school I expect to learn about what I will be working with. It’s also disgusting to keep a teacher that rolled her eyes in disgust when myself and ANOTHER black student expressed the lack of hair diversity . If you are black woman looking to go into the Cosmetology DO NOT GO TO THIS SCHOOL. I WILL be looking into getting an attorney. It’s quite comical that they expect me to pay them the money back. When I didn’t even get what I paid for. Disgusting PREJUDICE SCHOOL WITH LACK OF DIVERSITY.
