I was there to get my hair wash and set and a manicure. As I was checking in I ask the student who is doing my hair. She points to some student. I replied I know each student is learning but prefer a black student do my hair. The student said there are no black students taking the class. I clearly saw several students my color. Soon I sit to wait to be called. Then rude a instructor comes over telling me I had no right to ask for a black student. This white women would not stop talking. I think she was trying to educate me on racial justice. I was offened by her rude attitude. So I left. This instructor fail to understand I have a right to request a particular person I feel comfortable with doing my hair. I will neve rsupport Edgecombe community school

This college provides students with actual work. For a minimum charge you can get manicure, pedicure, acrylic and gel nails. Also offers facials and hair. Remember to tip in cash.
