Usually a great place to attend. I guess that all depends on the program and advisor you have. The advisor for Medical Office Coding dropped the ball big time with no remorse at all. Now I'm stuck waiting another whole year to take 1 class to graduate. 2 years for a 1 year program, smh. Edgecombe needs to do better.

I was there to get my hair wash and set and a manicure. As I was checking in I ask the student who is doing my hair. She points to some student. I replied I know each student is learning but prefer a black student do my hair. The student said there are no black students taking the class. I clearly saw several students my color. Soon I sit to wait to be called. Then rude a instructor comes over telling me I had no right to ask for a black student. This white women would not stop talking. I think she was trying to educate me on racial justice. I was offened by her rude attitude. So I left. This instructor fail to understand I have a right to request a particular person I feel comfortable with doing my hair. I will neve rsupport Edgecombe community school
