I went in today and got a blowout and trim by Madison and let’s just say she was excellent. To begin, when I entered the receptionist greeted me with a smile and although there was a wait time they were sure to check in with me about my appointment and update me. With that being said, Madison was very sweet and was very thorough will the analysis/consultation of my hair. Afterwards, she did a great shampoo job where my head felt totally different and clean. Then, prior to trimming, she took pictures to show me exactly what she was going to cut and GUESS WHAT, that is all that she cut. So overall I am very happy and grateful for my experience at Empire Beauty School and I am already booked to come back in 3 weeks.

If I could give no stars I absolutely would have. This establishment partnered me with a boy who was there to train to become a barber. I expressed that I was uncertain if he could strengthen and trim my long thick curly hair. There’s soo much wrong that happened to my hair while I was there. I want to explain it all but it does be no good in the end because what’s done is done sadly. But, fast forward to the end where things go from bad to worse. He asked his teacher to come over to help him with the trim she quickly asked me a question that was not clear, and then began chopping my hair. I walked into this establishment with hair long down my back and I’m gonna let the pictures speak for themselves. I ended up leaving without having my hair finished because it was so bad and they were going to just continue to chop and chop. Not only that, but I was also still forced to pay. I do not recommend this place. Nobody once acknowledged that anything wrong had happened I didn’t get an apology of any sort.

Fallon is awesome! But the scheduling could use some improvement! I booked three weeks in advance, only to come in and be told that my stylist was double booked. I called the day before my appointment to confirm my stylist and time and was told nothing about the scheduling conflict. That does not spell exceptional service to me. Also on the day of my appointment, I was left to wait for almost an hour. I was also made to pay before my service, because of that I was charged incorrectly, and was made to feel like it was my fault when I told the receptionist what i was getting and I also wrote it on the sign in sheet! Do better!
