From the 1st point of contact by phone & all the way to in person checking in with Deidra & Mr Graham I was treated with professionalism, courtesy, kindness & they actually smile, engage with the public. I was a walk in so Mr Graham informed me of the proper techniques needed to keep my color treated hair vibrant while also protecting it. He connected me with Deija(unsure of spelling) & she don’t disappoint. She’s knowledgeable, friendly & personable. Deija really took time with my hair & explaining products, services. When l was at the wash bowl l could have stayed there all day. Her scalp massage is everything. Thank you all for an awesome experience. See you in 2wks🙏🏿

I got my hair done here today, and the student that did it did NOT know what he was doing. My hair was tangled, and he had no idea how to do it. Other students who have done my hair did a great job, even when my hair was tangled. But this man had no clue at all. I wasn’t even getting anything complicated! I got a shampoo and blow dry, and my blow dry wasn’t even done correctly. When I left, my roots were still wet and thick in the front. I had to go home and fix it myself. When my mother and I complained about the service, the guy who was managing said that it was our fault for “not detangling” which makes absolutely no sense. It is their job to do my hair, and do it properly regardless of it being tangled. I should be able to go in with dirty and tangled hair, and come out with a decent and proper blow dry. Other people have done my hair when it was more tangled than it was today, and the blow dry came out great. This person just didn’t know what to do.

Norshay L. Is absolutely fantastic. She takes time to listen to what you're asking for and ensures your confidence is higher than when you sat in her chair. Very polite and professional. Before I knew it, i was seeing her multiple times a month for hair and skin care appointments. I'd highly recommend her and Empire Beauty's student-run salon!

Plus you'll apply your skills on your mannequins using your professional student kit. As part of your new student kit you will receive the Career Success Tablet. Your textbooks and curriculum are downloaded onto your tablet. As you progress through your training, you'll have the confidence to work in a student salon environment with guests.
