Our experience with the students and graduates from Hollywood Institute of Beauty Careers has only been positive. We have had the opportunity to work with many of the students and are impressed by not only their knowledge but also their level of empathy and understanding which can only be a direct representation of the stellar administration of the school. If you’re looking for a career in massage therapy. The Hollywood Institute is the choice for professionals. As a graduate of the school. Massage had opened up tremendous doors for me by profession which is in the health and fitness industry. If you’re interested in Massage, Barber, and Aesthetician skills this is the place. Besides the excellent brand new facilities, they have amazing teachers, knowing my teacher Vincent Monforte. He went beyond the call of an educator to help me move forward. With Massage Licence. Where do I begin , Ok I will begin by sharing that I have officially completed my Full specialty program as of 7/8/24, in the beginning it was very stressful due to staff and the unprofessionalism, but then it happened They clean house, by that I mean, construction work , turn over of staff , and withdrawals of students who did not take it serious. Now HI in margate is officially a great place to register, New director, Mr Vincent is absolutely professional, also has an open door policy, allows students to voice there opinion and suggestions, Ms, Rose always available as well to answer questions , Mr Elliot who you can go to for any concerns as well. The place is super clean now, Mr Vincent has upgraded so much that has made HI of Margate an absolute presentable looking school. My skin instructor Ms Girlie is absolutely amazing and knows exactly how to teach and her practicals are to die for , Ms Tiffany the nail instructor is very detailed, not only on practicals but also knowledgeable on everything that has to do with hands , infection control etc,. . Excuse my typos Today I can honestly say I give it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Hollywood Institute was founded in 1989 to provide professional training and education to individuals interested in a career in health, beauty and wellness related career fields. Hollywood Institute is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC) and approved by the U.S. Department of Education to provide Title IV Financial Aid to those students that qualify. We are licensed by the Commission for Independent Education (CIE), Florida Department of Education.

Full Specialist

Program Length 600 hours

The full specialty program combines care of the skin and care and beautification of the nails of the hand and feet. The program includes 292.5 clock hours of classroom training (Academic Instruction), and 37.5 lab hours (Practical Application) under the supervision of a Facial Specialist, Nail Technologist and/or Full Specialist licensed in Florida. The Full Specialty program is designed to qualify graduates for entry-level positions as facial specialist, estheticians, nail specialists, nail technicians, make-up artists, skin care consultants or related career fields; like salon assistants.

The objective in the Cosmetology program is to train students in the skills needed to meet the competencies for the examination required by the State Board of Cosmetology. Using the Pivot Point approach to education, instructors train students to think and act like designers. Students learn the theory behind Cosmetology and the practical skills necessary to succeed in the Beauty industry.

The Massage Therapy program is designed to qualify graduates for entry-level employment in a Health Care setting, Spa environment or as an independent practitioner. Students are taught manual techniques to manipulate the soft tissue structures of the body to prevent and alleviate pain, discomfort, muscle spasm, and stress; and to promote health and wellness. Topics include Anatomy, Physiology, Massage Theory, Florida Law, HIV/AIDS education, Hydrotherapy, Eastern and Allied modalities. Students gain hands-on experience through clinical applications and a positive learning environment that involves small classes.
