Very thankful for all the help with my carrier journey of becoming a barber with the start of the Milan school. I'm very appreciative of the staff, teachers, like Miss Dani, Mr. T, Mrs. Jasmine, Mr. Fabian and all of the advisors who have took the time to make huge impacts on from small to big, accompanied help from hands on training, to helping with students and teaching to learn from great predecessors and making huge achievements within any questions we came by. I will definitely know where to go in future with all beauty tips and services all staff was great help. Also career services was an awesome outlet/help with building my resume to helping me get set up my portfolio online and any questions i might have moving forward, with help of which direction to turn after graduation as of employment opportunity's so i appreciate them very much.

My name is Tyler. I am currently enrolled in the barbering program at Milan Institute- Merced. My phase 1 instructor, Fabian, was extremely attentive and hands-on which was greatly appreciated. He pushed me to step out of my comfort zone in haircutting module and experiment with styles that were unfamiliar to me. My transition into T-91 and Phase 2 with Ms. Jenn has been an absolute rollercoaster ride and I'm so grateful for her presence in my education and growth. Ms. Jenn pushes me to be amazing and execute to my fullest potential. She makes clear her expectations and holds space for our expectations of her as our instructor. She remains 100% professional through and through with a little added humor and fun in the mix. I couldn't have asked for a more caring group of instructors to help guide my education and push me to be amazing! I highly recommend Milan Institute- Merced for barbering and cosmetology. I have been enrolled in the Barberinf Program at Milan Institute for the past 8 months, and I want to express how amazing Miss Dani is as an instructor. I was in her class for 6 months, and during that time she consistently went out of her way to help her students. Her instruction was clear, thorough, and genuinely effective. I truly feel that the time I spent in her class was when I learned the most throughout my entire time at Milan. She doesn’t settle for the bare minimum—she goes above and beyond to make sure her students actually understand and learn the material. Even though I am no longer in her class, I still go to her for help, and she is always happy and willing to help. If she doesn’t know the answer right away, she will go out of her way to find it for us. Milan Institute definitely needs more instructors like Miss Dani. She is a great example of what a dedicated, supportive, and knowledgeable instructor should be.
