Ashley was the best!......I called and she was very professional and set up my appointment quickly. When I arrived she was prompt and started my hair immediately and explained everything as she was doing it. She was very knowledgeable about locs and the finished product was beautiful and neat! Also, for locs I felt the price was fair and well worth it. Overall, I had a great experienced and will definitely be going back.

Professionalism at its best. Nice clean atmosphere. Down to earth staff. Mrs. Shirley and her crew are representing Richmond well. My son loves going. Kisha does his hair monthly to keep it suitable for school 😀

Called and got an appt. for 2 weeks later. Ms. Peoples was nice enough but did not comb out my hair properly at all. Ms. Ashley combed out my hair while twisting it and was EXTREMELY rough. I let them know I was very tender headed from the beginning and reminded Ms. Ashley three times, she was unsympathetic and literally had headphones in the entire time she was doing my hair. My “hair trim” was simply her twisting my hair in chunky twists and cutting off where it got thinner. She charged me $150 but ended up getting only a $15 tip because “she didn’t have change.” Very expensive given no chemicals were used, no extensions of any sort and I didn’t get a proper trim. To top it all off she asks the other hair stylist to go get a light without even asking me if it was okay to take a picture of my hair. Very unprofessional. I will not be returning. I only let her finish because I am from out of town and just had hand surgery so cannot manage it myself at the moment. Given the reviews I was extremely disappointed.
