My first visit was pleasant and the customer service was decent upon my interaction with the female owner/wife of the school and the student who performed my skin treatment. I didn’t like how the male owner/husband was hovering over his wife as if she was incompetent in answering my questions. The second visit was TERRIBLE. I was highly offended by my interaction with the student who did my nails. My nails were great but the end of our interaction took a turn. She was very unprofessional and made teasing comments about my skin. (Another student witnessed the jokes she made.) When I shut down and she noticed a shift in my attitude, she ran and told the male owner a half story. He later attempted to publicly embarrass me in front of the other students while waving a flat iron in the air saying that I was giving his students a hard time without getting my side of the story, privately. He was definitely giving off ‘Waiting To Exhale’ vibes when the hairdresser told the friends that Bernie’s husband left her. I’m very surprised he is married based on his demeanor and mannerisms. He hid them very well during my first visit. The interaction left a very bad taste in my mouth. It happened sometime ago, but still bothers me when I think about it. VERY POOR customer service!! I always try to support black-owned businesses, but most of time I regret it.

Let me start by saying this was the first time my daughter has ever gotten her hair done by anyone other than me. The owners introduced themselves personally and were very sweet and hands on I can tell they are really invested in their students. The services my daughter received were, a shampoo deep condition and silk press performed by Avery. My daughter said Avery was so kind and gentle and she thinks she would make a great elementary school teacher lol Thank you for your services I was very pleased and we both will be returning.

When I say an amazing atmosphere- definitely mean exactly that! We felt welcomed and loved from the students to the owner. We came at a busy time with no appointment but they were able to work us in. Their customer service ethics and talent was unmatched! Very pleased with the school and service. Will be returning!
