This place doesn’t have a grace period for students that arrive late. If you have any responsibilities aside from this program or travel a distance and navigate circumstances like traffic take your classes online or find a different school. I arrived 5 minutes late so I couldn’t take an exam that’s done on my phone. It’s a very simple task and most of the time you’re working alone so I’m not understanding why they don’t allow a grace period when most of the time I finish working before it’s time to go. Now I have to pay $300 to take the classes online when I’ve already paid $3500 for enrollment.

On exam day, I felt extremely prepared, and my preparedness truly showed how well I had been trained. At Spectrum Beauty Academy, we were not just classmates—we grew very close and became like a family. The school has the best teachers, the most fun classes, and the perfect balance of learning and camaraderie. I gained so many friends, and we still keep in touch. The academy provides robust, high-quality supplies that we used throughout every class. Having access to professional-grade tools and products made learning even more effective and enjoyable. The cosmetology program teaches you the basics of haircutting, coloring, relaxing, facials, nails, and waxing. The accelerated classes take place during business hours on weekdays. They also have an online option called the Spectrum Online Career Academy, where your course materials are shipped right to your door.
Spectrum's esthetics program teaches you makeup application, facial treatments, and massage techniques. The master esthetics course is available for licensed estheticians who want to learn advanced skin evaluation techniques like microdermabrasion, peels, light therapy, or vacuum treatments.
The nail technology course focuses on all phases of nail services, while the barber course follows theory and practical barbering techniques. They also have a specialty course called the business boot camp, which only takes three and a half hours to complete.
Spectrum Beauty Academy doesn't forget about their students after they graduate. They offer a lifetime job placement program to help make sure you are always able to find employment.
