If I could give no stars, I would. I went in for a haircut and eyebrow wax. The stylist I got was very sweet, but my experience quickly turned into a nightmare. She had barely started when she told me she had made a mistake. She then told me I wouldn't have to pay for the service. I got very nervous and took a look, and I was not prepared for what I saw. She apologized and asked if I wanted someone to fill them in. I agreed, but the eyebrow makeup was the worst I've ever had. She then told me I wouldn't have to pay for the service and would only be charged for the haircut. I chose not to continue with the haircut and did not let her finish my other brow. I left without any compensation. I was told I would be called on monday so see what they could do. I understand that this is a training institution and that there are risks involved, but this experience was very disappointing. I simply could not stop crying my eyes out. This was the only place available for a haircut, so I took a risk. Unfortunately, I thought the students were experienced enough to do a decent job, but I was wrong. Update: I had hoped that this establishment would attempt to rectify their mistake, but unfortunately, I was disappointed again. Initially, I was offered a facial, which I declined. However, the lady insisted on making amends, so I agreed to a manicure instead. I was delighted with the student assigned to me, who was an absolute pleasure to work with. Although it took her two hours to remove my nail gel, I was more than happy to wait due to her lovely demeanor. She was eager to make things right and offered to customize my nail service. I requested a gel application with a rubber base, but they didn't have rubber. I then opted for an acrylic overlay, only to discover that I had to pay extra for any nail color. This was unacceptable, especially considering I had already invested time and effort by visiting the facility two days in a row. The first day, my service was incomplete, and on the second day, I only received a cuticle removal, which hardly constitutes a remedy. In my opinion, the professor and night students are the redeeming qualities of this establishment. Unfortunately, I would advise others to avoid this place, as the services provided are subpar. If you desire substandard eyebrow shaping, unfinished nails, and poor makeup application, then this might be the place for you. I spent 120$ buying makeup to fix their mistake on my eyebrow and fixing the other one at a facility. Yet, they can't offer me a color service on my nails. This is embarrassing. Not to forget the horrible eyebrow makeup I got was done by a "professor".
