DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!! WOST SCHOOL EVER!!! I attended vogue in 2022 & I had the worst experience of my life. I am a GREAT student that follows directions but for some reason the teachers & Ms.Page (The director) had zero respect for me, never did they try to help me or communicate with me to try to make me a better nail tech. We rotated 5 different Nail Tech teachers while I attended. NONE OF THEM TAUGHT correctly. I was definitely YouTube trained. There is no curriculum. There is no support from staff. There is no future for anyone in this program. They pick & choose who they like. & it’s all about getting the MOST money out your pockets without you learning any knowledge about the program you signed up for. DO NOT ATTEND HERE. Go to Milan or Paul Michell. I promise you they will be SO MUCH BETTER than a horrible place like Vogue. I regret it with all my life. Trust me you are SO MUCH VALUABLE than a place this bad.

Even though is been a while since I graduated (June 2023) I decided to come back and comment on my experience because education to me is extremely important, and this school is the worst I’ve experience in my life. (I am currently a PhD student and never had I’ve been treated this low in any school or trainings institutions). I was only there for 4 months because I just needed to validate my degree from Mexico to transfer it to the U.S so I only needed a few hours. However, the curriculum is extremely outdated and all I did was basically work for free. At that time I didn’t mind because I had experience but I felt super bad for the other students that never received basic theory. However, the worse part is staff and the instructors. I’ve always feel you don’t need a degree to have manners and treat people right but these people wouldn’t even reply to my “Good Morning”. Just FYI, The Nail Tech was the most unprofessional and uneducated person I’ve ever met. She would portray herself as someone who feels above anyone else, trying to make you feel as if you are trash. I kindly asked her a couple of times to provide me a refresher on nails and either she ignored me or told me didn’t have time. (But was just chatting with her instructor friend or favorite students or just sitting down). So I asked one of the students during down time and she didn’t allowed it just because she didn’t want to… Anyways I pay more than $6000 out of pocket (3months) for nothing- After I graduated I used tik tok as a nail refresher and for the state board exams and believe me they were a million times for useful. So if you’re considering beauty school, I would conduct deep research and look for better options and make your money worth. I still hope this school is able to improve their program and hire instructors that are genuinely motivated to teach this industry to new generations.

I have always been a great student, but coming to this place i was treated so terribly, as if i wasnt PAYING to be there. To TRY to keep things short, ill number it down but this isnt even all of what i experienced attending here 1. My teacher (who eventually quit anyways) wouldnt even say good morning, just hand me the ticket of the client she had waiting for me and walk away. It was a clear day and night difference in how she had her favorites…and i def wasnt a favorite of hers (staff turnover rate is crazy here, some students before me said this was their THIRD teacher since they have started) 2. We have to put up with rude disrespectful clients, and are expected to provide a good service to them nonetheless. I had to experience racism from a client, and staff didn’t do anything abt it. The teacher just told me “in the beauty industry you need tough skin sweetie”. 3. As a cosmo student, we are only to do hair. No nails, no esthetics as i had been advertised when i first signed up. They do not like to see cosmos in the esthetics room nor the nails department. 4. They make up rules for each student. I got told that i cant wear airpods, but another student can? They change their rules according to who you are which is so unprofessional (again, favoritism) 5. Clients, clients, clients. They say that they want u to gain experience, but forget that BOOKWORK is just as important as well. I didnt get taught even HALF the book like we are supposed to be learning for state exam. I was 3 weeks away from graduation, and still had 7 chapter tests to do, the 100 questions test and the TDLR test but got told i had to work on clients or i was going to be SENT HOME for “refusing a client”. I had to read and study by myself because they only covered less than HALF the book during theory days 6. Somebody switched my clippers while i was on my lunch, brought it up to staff, they told me they dont have cameras that cover my area, even though i could clearly see TWO cameras from my station. 7. The only way to make up hours is the get there 30 min early and stay at school for 12 hours (usually 7 hr days). So exhausting, i def dont miss those long miserable days. 8. It got to the point where i had to pay if i wanted to use color on my mannequin, like were the thousands of dollars in i payed not enough to cover a 7$ bottle of color??? 9. Sitting down for a little break was seen as a major sin to the staff. Like i stated before, imagine making up hours and having a 12 hour day the day before and having to go back to school the next day, having ZERO empathy. Students have lives outside of school and staff do not care at all. 10. The nail teacher was fired for having “wine nights” with a student… 11. This was quite frankly the most stressful, exhausting, depressing time of my life. I genuinely do not say that lightly either, i had total mental breakdowns after school wondering if this career was even worth it. Im glad i personally have an amazing support system, so i made it through. But school should be encouraging you, not making you question if you even want to be in the beauty industry. Several of us also noticed teachers/staff being extremely nice and focusing on the new students and totally forgetting about the other students.. Anyone i meet that is interested in going to cosmo school i steer them away from vogue, because this school doesnt care abt their students. They just want to enroll them and get paid.
