45 minutes ago Where do I start . I give it one star just to write the review . I have never seen so many people lying at the same time like I have seen the whole members of the school . You can only get away with so much . Sooner or later you get caught on your own lies. I am a former student of ANBA . The school lies to students , concealed information pretending financial aid with all the malicious intentions of ripping students of . I finish the spa program with sacrifice, turning down a $24 hr job while I was in school to find out after my graduation date that I own money that I was not aware of . The cost could’ve been paid completely by the department of education through students loans but The school has a funny amicable relationship with a third party to rip of student and withholding credentials and certification if you do not agree to sign a contract. Many students have no other choice but to sign the contract so they can get the MBLEx and esthetician licenses. Every school is required by law to be clear and transparent about the process during financial aid , letting the student know about any balance not covert by Department of Education. Every school is required by law to tell students and prospective students about any other financial assistance available to them in case that they didn’t qualify for Pell . ANBA failed to tell me and other students of this problem that can be resolved by calling Aid advance and ask for the remaining balance, but it is better for the owners and all the people involved in the scam to threaten students with attorneys, using manipulation and intimidation so I can shut up . All my effort , the days I walked to school, leaving my son alone in my home so I can attend this school , going through financial problems thinking that everything was ok . They lied about my character saying that I was disrespectful to the owner when all I have done is cry and cry about the situation. My teachers has surprised me when none of them has contacted me to asked me how am I doing . None! Jenn , a person who everyone knows I defended and respected has showed me that her job is more important than to be decent and honest human being . Nicole lie to the attorney saying that I screamed at her over the phone when I have been respectful even though none of you deserve any respect. Mr Rosenberg who acted in a very threatening way towards me , bagging the desk to intimidate me, yes, Krystal you were there and you know I am telling the truth. A man that only cares about greed and not about the well being of the students . No decency , no kindness of any kind . Just threats and abuse . This is the reason some people commit suicide . For PEOPLE LIKE ALL OF YOU ! I am not going to be a massage therapist for now. I am going to desist from getting my licenses but I am not going to stop denouncing the fraudulent behavior of ANBA. Because your attorney decided to threaten me with a law suit for defamation to keep me quiet , just so you guys know that I am not easily manipulated or intimidated by none of you specially when I KNOW I AM TELLING THE TRUTH ! I will passed a lie detector test with flying colors! I am sure that you don’t want this case to go to court . You have everything to lose . I don’t , I lost everything the day I enrolled in this school which I REGRET WITH ALL MY SOUL. Poor education, too much sacrifices . Lack of supplies, teachers quitting, classes run by YouTube . I don’t know what I was thinking! I have all the right to write a review specifically when there’s other victims or future victims that need to be aware of . Time will give me the reason

Employment opportunities are on the rise. The U.S. Department of Labor reports that employment for cosmetologists will continue to to grow faster than the average growth in other industries .In the new millennium, more and more people will spend their money on personal care services such as hair styling, hair coloring and texturizing, manicures and pedicures, facials and makeup application. While the majority of cosmetologists work as stylists in salons; many choose careers in other areas. These might include:

After completing this course you will have a complete understanding of the role of the Nail Technician and be prepared to take the State Examination for Licensing.

Barbering

One of the reasons is that few schools in this country teach the program because the majority of students opt for Cosmetology. This leaves a void in the field of Barbering which in turn opens the door for a lucrative career as a Barber Stylist.

Here, at Artistic Nails and Beauty Academy, the Barber Styling License requires 1200 hours of training. You will become proficient at cutting, styling, beard and mustache trim, clipper cuts and "trend" design among the many other specialized attributes that separate the barber from the cosmetologist. It is an important distinction and of one you can be proud. Employment opportunities are excellent. Barber Stylist can be found working in exclusive shops, salon and day spas, as manufacturer's representatives, platform artists and as instructors and free-lance artists demonstrating new technology for various companies.
