I absolutely love coming here and getting my hair done. Everyone is helpful and professional. From the students to the teachers they will answer any question you have. I have been coming here since before they expanded. I have never had a problem. I love them so much. !!!!

I don't plan to go back. I went a few days ago. Lady at the front desk is very nice and pleasant to talk to, however, I think the owner really should oversee and train on her " no exceptions " for students and instructors. The instructors more. One lady walks around with her hands in both pockets, the entire time she's on the floor. Students should be working on people's heads instead, they are doing that + shucking and jiveing with the instructors and other students in front of clients. I know it states that you can request a certain student, I did not ask when I arrived, but I watched one student conduct the service really well, that I wanted, so I went back to the front desk to ask if I could get that student. Maybe the guy was being funny but he said, "we're not taking special request today." When I went back later to ask the lady at the front a question, he turned around and looked as though, "okay, what does she want now." Seems as though I was targeted. I'm sure he will say no I didn't do this but he did exactly what I'm posting. You walk in, there's only 3 people waiting. You later asked for special request whenever it was down to only 2 people waiting ...myself and one other.....and you make that comment, I call that being targeted, but there was also certain looks that gave me targeted vibes while I was there, with this instructor. When I walked in, there were only three people waiting. When I left without service, I had waited close to 3 hours. It seems you have some students who are more interested in talking to the instructors Instead of doing something constructive related to learning while they're waiting for their client up under the hairdryer, I just think there's no accountability even to have instructors walking around not watching every client's head and giving advice. That's what happens when you own a shop and you are not there to really see what people are doing. I think the guy should not target people but talk to people in a professional manner. Being that it is a school, the students are going to act based on what they see and what is allowed by their leaders? This is why so many hair shops now have friends come in and talk and laugh and joke, while clients are being treated in a seat, very unprofessional. I love hair salon shops where people have their individual Room and your appointment time is your appointment time, privately and professionally. When my home technical school of cosmetology is in session and I've gone there, the students are serious, but good to their students. The instructors are very professional...the way it should be. I informed the lady at the front desk that I was leaving, so I walked out after sitting that many hours. I know it's normal to sit that many hours on a weekend. I feel GOD quickly revealed to me to get up and leave.....I took over my power. Never be intimidated buy anyone, wait for GOD, he will quickly turn things around!!! Since I came from a distance, once home I found one shop, lady could not promise, but she did text me and took me in the next morning.... did a beautiful job, african christian, beautiful attitude and only a few minutes away.....in her own cubicle/room. Once she was done, the LORD laid on my spirit that "this is the way it's supposed to be done." While I realized the beauty school is very reasonably priced, I think most shops are so overpriced to the extreme, even though I can afford it. I only asked for a few braids. It was only shockingly $60 but I gave her a $100. bill, she was very, very happy, but she was well worth it! I will never plan to go back to millennium trade academy.... My time and how I'm treated, is super important as a customer. You never have to bow down to anyone. Take your power back, which is what I did and I walked out, especially when you can afford it!! Look at the results of what GOD did. Being silently targeted is very ignorant! My hair is done for the holiday, praise the LORD!

As a mom on a budget, I love having the hair school close to home. They always do a great job, and my little one loves her styles. We bring a Pic, and they usually can replicate anything. I also get my loc realist done here.
