Shout out to Maddie at the Mount Pleasant Protege Academy for turning my hair into everything I asked for. She was very nice & took the time to explain what she was doing and made sure I was comfortable at all times. Can’t thank you enough!

I have been coming here for at least 4 years now, I've always gotten great service. I recommend them to friends often. It's very expensive getting a root touch up at a salon every 6 weeks. I like to come here because I still get good quality salon products at a fraction of the price, plus it gives the stylists the experience they need so it's a win-win! The only negative is that I get to know someone and they graduate : ) but anytime I get someone new they are always professional and listen to my wants as a customer. I stopped going to the other beauty school in town because I appreciate the more professional atmosphere at Protege.

I had a wonderful experience at Protege Academy in Mount Pleasant. I wanted to add blonde into my hair, but after doing a test strand on my hair the teacher didn’t feel comfortable having the student add bleach to my hair because it would damage it and not look the greatest. I wasn’t very happy at first, but I would rather them be honest than destroy my hair by adding bleach! So instead, I went with a color and cut. My hair stylist was amazing and I will definitely be back for my next service! 🙂
